Research Title: A General Program Evaluation of Equine Assisted Programs Around the World
You are invited to participate in this research study. This study is being conducted by a West Virginia University student LeeAnn Testa, BA, MOTS and faculty members: Amanda Kessler Rogers, MS, OTR/L and Robert D. Chetlin, PhD, CSCS, HFI. This research is being conducted to fulfill the requirements for a Masters thesis in Occupational Therapy for LeeAnn Testa, under the supervision of Amanda Kessler Rogers and Robert Chetlin.
The purpose of this study is to learn more about documentation used for equine assisted programs and to exam the possibility of a universal protocol for standardized documentation.
This study involves completing an anonymous survey that will take approximately 1520 minutes. You will be asked to provide personal demographic data. You are encouraged to answer all questions, but are not required to. There is no known or expected risk from participating in this study. Your participation in the study is voluntary. This anonymous survey is located on a secure server through West Virginia University.
No financial benefit will be gained from participating in this study. You may not receive any direct benefit from this study, but the knowledge gained will likely positively impact the future of equine assisted programs. Any information about you or your facility that is obtained as a result of your participation in this research will be kept as confidential as legally possible and no identifying information will appear in any publication that may result from this research. Participation in this study is voluntary. You are free to withdraw your consent to participate in this study at any time.
